Overheard on a sidewalk, on 8 th. St. in front of the Bitter Creek Ale House - a scrap of conversation between a young woman and a young man approaching me. In a rather loud and exasperated tone the woman was saying to the obviously concerned man who had a worried look on his face:
"I'm sure if I was getting married, you would have been the first to know!"
